Hanes Brands Inc are located in Woking and relocated from their existing building to newly refurbished offices. It had been some time since anyone in the organisation had moved office and there was apprehension amongst the staff regarding the move.
RHT Project Mangers attended a number of pre-move meetings to explain the move process and ensure that the Hanes Brands staff, who were responsible for the relocation, were fully prepared. In doing this RHT provided move instructions to be sent to staff, labelling plans and liaised with the building management.
The relocation was completed over one weekend with pre and post move support and some enabling works in the days before the actual relocation.
On completing the move the client requested a two week grace period before the redundant furniture was removed and ethically disposed of. On complete of the disposal the building was then stripped of IT and telephone systems and thoroughly cleaned leaving only the meter readings before the building was handed back to the landlord.
